2021 INDOOR SEASON

POWERHOUSE & ST KILDA INDOOR TERM 4 - EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

Powerhouse & St Kilda Hockey Club is looking to increase our representation in all age groups for Indoor Hockey at Club Level and State Level. We are looking forward to continuing this into the future.
The deadline for indicating interest in playing indoor is Monday the 6th of September. Please complete the survey as soon as possible.

 

Competition
Age Groups for 2021 will now be the same as outdoor, U12, U14, U16 & U18

* Girls Only Competition will be offered to U12, U14 & U16

* Indoor Club Championships will change to U14, U16 & U18 (ICC will be held in 2022)

* Grades: Mixed Shield, Mixed Pennant & Girls Only

* Venues : New Indoor facilities at State Hockey & Netball Centre (SHNC) & Dandenong (JD Mills Reserve) & Victoria University (Footscray)

Any player wishing to play out of age group (eg eligible for U15s but wants to play U18s) must put their request and reasons into writing to Junior Unit via email to : business.juniors@powerhouse.hockey


**Competition commencement is planned for early October.

2021 Age Eligibility

U12 - Born 2009 & younger
U14 - Born 2007 & younger
U16 - Born 2005 & younger
U18 - Born 2003 & younger

NOTE - SHIELD:

* Shield level in outdoor does not mean a player will be in an Indoor team at the same level.

* Players prior indoor experience will be used to allocate them to teams.

* All Shield teams will be capped at 9-10 players maximum . U18s is an exception (due to exams etc usually carry a bigger bench).

* Club Championships is not suitable for new to indoor or players with limited indoor experience, players who have played in the 2021 Shield level indoor comp will be given priority.
