The Pine Rivers Dragons Committee have been working hard to finalise all the details for the upcoming 2021 season, and are excited to communicate training / game details, term fees and invoicing information as well as some exciting news about uniforms to all our registered members and prospective members! Please see below for this information.

Junior Competitive Players

Training

Training commences Monday 15 February at Skate Away Albany Creek:

• U9 training : 5:15 – 6:00 pm
• U11 training: 6:15 – 7:00 pm
• U13 training: 7:15 – 8:00 pm
• U15 training: 8:15 – 9:00 pm

Games

Games commence Sunday 14 March. Current dates for scheduled games (location TBD by Skate Qld) for this season are:

Term Fees

Payment can be made for the full $750 playing fees for the season if requested.

Uniforms

We are excited to announce that the club will be providing a subsidy for uniforms this season! If you fully register and submit your uniform order form before 9 February 2021 you can receive a subsidy on your uniform. You can:

• Purchase your own jersey for a subsidised amount of $35 if you order before 9 February (normally $70);
• Borrow a jersey from the club for the season; or
• I have my own jersey already.

If players have their own jersey, $35 subsidy can be used for cover pants if ordered before 9 February (normally $70).

The uniform order form (attached) must be completed, returned and payment processed by 9 February to receive this subsidy. We will be ordering on this date to ensure that players / teams have jerseys for the first game of the season, so don’t miss out!

Mighty Pucks and Learn to Play Programs

Sessions 

Mighty Puck and Learn to Play sessions will be held on Sunday afternoons from 4:30 to 5:20pm at Skate Away Albany Creek. The season commences on Sunday 14 February, with the current dates for sessions this year being:

Term Fees

Players have an option of hiring gear from the club or supplying their own. All players must have their own inline skates.

For new players, the registration fee includes 3 weeks for the player to try the program and decide whether the player would like to commit to the program for the remainder of the season (Term 1, Term 2 and Term 3).

Payment can be made for the full $435 / $345 fees for the season if requested.

Uniforms

There is no requirement for the Mighty Pucks & Learn to play players to purchase uniforms – the program uses training jerseys for when required during the sessions. Players are more than welcome to purchase Dragon jerseys and cover pants if desired – jerseys and cover pants are $70 each and a club order will be placed in mid-February. Please let us know if you would like to order uniforms and a uniform order form can be provided. Uniforms orders need to be received by 9 February to be included in the club order.
