The 2025 Gee Wizz Vincent Open Classic was held over the Australia Day long weekend, Saturday 25th January to Monday 27th January 2025. An absolutely fantastic weekend for all who organised, attended and participated, with a special thanks to our Major Sponsor, 'G-WIZZ YACHTING' for their ongoing support of our event, as well as Eldredge Wines for coming on board for this year's event.

Thanks also to our long term friends from Christies Sailing Club, Largs Bay Sailing Club, Henley Sailing Club, Adelaide Sailing Club Somerton Yacht Club for always being regulars, and to those that made the effort to attend from Goolwa Regatta Yacht Club Inc. The SA sailing community is alive and well thanks to the commitment of all these people keeping events like this thriving and making this years classic one of the biggest in recent memory. Can't wait for 2026!

Similar to previous years, we featured a coastal race for trailable yachts (Sunday).

After a 1130 hours briefing, there was 2 races around the bay on Saturday. On Sunday the Mosquitos and dinghies will had a race around the bay and the trailable yachts headed off for a race up and down the coast. This was all followed by the event dinner and the PV Sailing club clubrooms. On Monday we finished with two more races in the bay followed by presentations early in the afternoon.
