3Rivers Mini Marathon, 14th of November

**We are very hopeful for the event to finally take place on the 14th of November, since other events such as - Beach to Brother trail running festival in Port Macquarie (beginning of November), or the Jacaranda Festival in Grafton (the end of October) will take place. However unfortunately this is our last date this year. We’re still monitoring the current Covid situation and, with our Covid Safety Plan, we are still confident the event will operate on 14th of November. There likely will be some adaptive measures to enable the aquatic event to take place. More information on these measures will be provided in the coming days/weeks.**

**All participants ( competitors, officials, volunteers, spectators) must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19 and must provide official proof of vaccination( or exemption) in person at the venues on arrival.**

The 3 Rivers Mini Marathon is a fun water event for all self-propelled craft; rowboat, surf boat, kayak, surf ski, dragon boat, ocean ski, outrigger, SUP and canoe. The event is open to anyone over the age of 12, from the serious competitor to the casual paddler.  The event begins under the Tele Point Bridge (the old Pacific Highway Bridge), travels downstream via the Wilson, Maria and Hastings Rivers and finishes at the Port Macquarie Rowing Club off Hibbard Drive. Post-race enjoy a drink and BBQ lunch, listen to a Jazz Band and reflect on your achievements with fellow athletes.

Starting at Log Wharf Reserve,Telegraph Point to the Port Macquarie Rowing Club is 25km. (course GPX file click here).

Registration opens on the 12th of July, Monday at 6pm.

Event seat fee: 

  • $25 - Early Bird registration and shirt order closes at  9th of August 11:59pm
  • $30 - General entry closes at 13th of November8pm.
  • $35 - Late Registration: - on the day at the start point.
  • DRAGON Boats and watercrafts with  10 or more competitor: $20/person ($25 on the day)
    • Coxes, Drummers, sweepers/steerers: free of charge for seat fee
  • 20% of the fee is donated to Hastings Neighbourhood Services

Pre-Event Dinner - $25

  • Saturday, 13th of November,
  • Pre-event Dinner:6:00pm, Settlers Inn (101 Hastings River Drive, Port Macquarie)
  • Include: Garlic bread + 1 Meal (options as follows):
    • BURRITO BOWL (vegetarian, gluten free)
      Asian cabbage, blackbeans, smokey cheese, corn chips, sour cream, falafel, guacamole, salsa & seasoned brown rice
    • CLIFTON BEEF BURGER
      Angus beef, milk bun, bacon, cheese, pickles, mustard aioli, ketchup & waffle fries
    • CHICKEN SCHNITZEL
      300g hand crumbed breast, salad & chunky fries
