International Women's Day High Tea

MAD HATTERS GALORE
What a wonderful day of High Tea and Croquet at Point Lookout Croquet Club. No rain, no wind made for a perfect day.
We had a fantastic turn out of over fifty Maryborough community members to learn how to play our great sport of croquet and to support Yoorana, raising $681 to assist them in the hard work they do in supporting women who have suffered domestic violence.
Firstly, a special thank you to the Croquet Association of Queensland and the Queensland Government for supporting this event through the CAQ's women in croquet project.
Secondly, thank you to all the members and volunteers of our Point Lookout Croquet Club for their hard work. Form the men who help setup in the morning to the ladies who prepared the food, thank you all for making it an awesome day. What a great team effort.
Lastly, thank you for all the businesses of Maryborough and everyone who kindly donated and supported our event. Thanks to John Barounis for loaning us the Marquees and everything else him and his team have helped us with.
