Social opportunities are always a priority for pickleball events but often difficult to coordinate with the hectic playing schedule.  It is our pleasure to invite all participants, volunteers and their families to a social event on the Friday evening at the Queensland Tennis Centre.

The 60+, 70+, and Open singles will be playing on Friday afternoon as will the inaugural event for players with a disability - the Open Hybrid Doubles.  Come along to support these competitors and then join us for a social gathering and hit afterwards.

The licenced cafe has a small but tasty menu for this evening for those wanting to have a bite to eat while the bar will also be open for a social drink.

We have also organised the courts to be available until 9pm for those wanting a social hit.

There is no cost for this event, just the expense of your own food and drinks. 

There will also be a giveaway of 5 Selkirk paddles during the evening.
