I started playing pickleball after a friend returned from Canada and told me about it. It was a few weeks before the pandemic so then we all stopped. I was really hanging out to get back on the court. Brisbane pickleball club welcomed me with open and friendly arms. I enjoy the social and competitive aspects of the game, the sound and the state of mindfulness it puts you in.

In my non-pickleball life, I am the mother of two sets of twins in their early twenties, a maths teacher and I run a small business with my husband who has promised to start playing after recovering from shoulder surgery so he can see me more.
