Memberships are valid for 12 months based on financial years.
Note that it is Squash Australia policy that players based in Tasmania register their membership with their club as well as Squash Tasmania and Squash Australia. This means when you take out a membership with the Penguin Squash Club you will also be taking out an affiliated membership with Squash Tasmania and Squash Australia. You can see the different levels of membership and what Squash Australia offers for each level in the Squash Australia Membership Booklet on pages 6 and 7.
You will need a Local Membership to play in any sanctioned competitions at a Club or State level, and you will need a Compete membership if you want to play in any top level Squash Australia events such as the Australian Junior Open or the Australian National Championships (Open division). The breakdown of the membership charges for the 24/25 Financial Year (FY) and how much goes to the Penguin Squash Club, Squash Tasmania and Squash Australia is as follows:
Please note that Penguin Squash Club Pennant Fees and Membership Fees are not collected through this platform and are collected separately.
