Dear Rowers, Family and Friends

It is with great pleasure that I invite you to the conferral of life membership of the Port Adelaide Rowing Club to Brenton Terrell.

Brenton has had a long association with the club, with a great history of service and achievements.  He has been one of the most decorated members of the club, and after his successful career as a rower, including as an Olympian representing Australia, he also had an impressive coaching career, which is by no means not over with one of his crews recently winning a national title.  He has been the Australian National Coach and coached many club and school crews to national and international success.

Brenton has given back to the sport through his professional coaching career and volunteering.  We also love that Brenton is proud of his roots in Port Adelaide, both as a member of the community and member of our club.

We would love you to join us to celebrate Brenton’s achievements and service and hear some of the stories and history about our great club.

• When/Where: The ceremony will be held at the club on 2 June 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
• What: Please wear neat casual attire.  Light snacks and refreshments will be served and the bar will be open.

The event will be free of charge.
