Barcaldine Tent City

You can now book your Barcaldine tents directly through the Tent City website . Find a buddy or stay in your own it is up to you. The Tent City is based at the Golf Club in Barcaldine which is a short walk from the centre of town. Breakfast will be available each day for you to purchase at the Golf Club.  

Buses and Fligts

If you are flying in and out of Longreach we have all your transport needs covered. There is a bus running from Friday's plane to Barcaldine, to and from the regatta and the Tent City on Saturday. From Barcaldine to Longreach on Sunday and then from the regatta to the plane on Sunday afternoon. You can book your bus seats on the Outback Rowing website. 

Flying into Emerald.

The price of airfares in and out of Longreach is now very high. There is also the option of flying into Emerald on Friday morning and joining the Outback Convoy. There are some seats spare in the convoy cars so if you are keen to do this send the Outback Crew an email. You can then return to Brisbane by car or fly back out of Emerald or Longreach (cheaper on the Monday).
