Great story and a good reminder to the metro crews about travel times with some of the rowers covering 400km each paddle. After the Outback Regatta the newly christened Tambo coxed four will make Cunnamulla home to keep the crew on the water.

Tree of Knowledge in Barcaldine

On Saturday morning at 7.30am local Barcaldine Mayor, Rob Chandler, will host all the Outback Regatta crews at the Tree of Knowledge. Rob was instrumental in the planning and building of the memorial and has some great yarns. For those people staying in Barcaldine, on Friday night, breakfast will be available from 7am. For rowers coming from Longreach we need you to have breakfast before you leave as the volunteers will not be able to cater for everyone.
