This event is full.

Myall Classic 27km  - no stops, The course is relatively protected. The tide can be favourable. Paddle speed required is a minimum of 8k per hour, quite doable!

The Myall Classic is a major ultramarathon event on the NSW paddling calendar. It is held on the Myall River at Tea Gardens each September on the last Saturday (ie 6 days) before the school holidays, taking both competitive and recreational paddlers up the Myall River and return. Starts and finishes at Tea Gardens.

Only one crew - one event.. 

This will be a challenging event. Paddlers will need to train for this event.

This event is hosted by Lane Cove River Kayakers, long time Myall Classic supporters keen to see the event continue and flourish.

 

EARLY BIRD ENTRIES close at 11:59pm on Sunday 18th August

 

ALL ENTRIES close at 11:59pm on Tuesday 17th September. 

 

NO entries on the day.

 

ENTRY FEES: 

Early Bird Entry (by 18th August)

    • Adult - $75:00 
    • 65+ - $60:00
    • Junior/Student - $35:00

 

Standard Entry 

    • Adult - $90:00
    • 65+ - $75:00
    • Junior/Student - $50:00

 

A limited number of special Vaikobi long sleeve Myall rashies will be available to entries on a 'first in, best dressed’ basis. These are included in the entry fee.

 

Early Bird entrants have the best chance of securing a rashie in their preferred size.  

 

So enter now as we won’t be able to supply additional tops once they run out.

 

Please indicate your size from the Vaikobi sizing chart below, and we will endeavour to supply your correct size, or something very close.

For event and paddler insurance purposes, all paddlers must either hold an active Paddle Australia membership or pay a Paddle Australia Single Event Non-Member Fee ($24 for an Adult and $12 for a Junior).

Non-Member Fees will be charged as part of the registration process.

 

Members of PA affiliated Clubs will need their PA Membership Number to enter this event.

3 different distances are on offer 12km/27km/47km to suit the capabilities of a range of paddlers. Each is an out and return course.

The event has minimum progress and cut-off times. To avoid turn-back, select your distance/start time wisely if you are a slower paddler. Check the Myall website for details on this years Minimum Progress Times.

 

The Finish Line does not open until 12:30pm. No times are recorded before 12:30pm. Select your start time wisely if you are a faster paddler.
