The SELECTIONS FLEET -This fleet is for the purpose of selecting the OPTIMIST SAILING SA teams to compete in the IODA World Championships and the African Continental Championship, and any other international event where selection is necessary. Optimist Sailing SA Sailors who attended at least 2 Regional championships and the Optimist class national championships in the calendar year 2019 are eligible to compete in the selection event.
The OPEN FLEET- This fleet is open to any Optimist sailor who wishes to compete.
Sailors qualified as per 3.2 above, should enter and make full payment of the entry by 1st March 2020.
