Competitive Solo

Solo competitions run from February to May/June and families enter and pay via a platform provided by Calisthenics Victoria. Competitive solo coaching fees are advised on application, with a coaching fee and a hall hire fee. Competitive solo entries are normally open from September to early November and all college members will be advised via social media.

Most competitions are held across Melbourne, Ballarat and Geelong. As of 2024, Geelong has it's own local solo competition. Performers compete in their age group in a suitable division nominated by Calisthenics Victoria. There is no limit to the amount of competitions entered, apart from what is available to your age group/division. Minimising entries, and only entering the Geelong competition could be the ideal way to introduce new solo performers into the world of solo competitions.

The college encourages pupils, who are interested in performing in solo competitions, to contact the college for further details.

Recreational Solo

For those families and students who want to ease into the solo/duo space before advancing to a competitive level, we offer recreational solos which commence late November through to January, with a solo concert held mid February. There is a set fee for 6 weeks of training, which covers tuition, hall hire and costume hire.
