Welcome to the Ocean Beach Seagull Nippers Volunteer program! This program is part of Surf Life Saving Australia's Silver Salties initiative and supported by State Centres. Silver Salties is a physical activity and social connections initiative for older Australians, but all ages are welcome!

The Ocean Beach Seagull Nipper Volunteer program is all about helping families of children with a disability enjoy our beautiful beach.  It's also about fitness and social interaction with like-minded people in a safe and welcoming environment. Seagull Nippers is led by Program Leader, Simone Rider.

To volunteer for this program, you will be required to have a current Working with Children's Check. A WWCC is free and can be applied for online at https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/apply-working-children-check

There are a variety of roles to take on and opportunities to participate in, such as set up and pack up of equipment, activity organisation, on the day administration, being a Seagull Buddy and plenty more - there is something for everyone, no matter your age or experience.

As volunteers we would love you to be there by 10.30am. The program will run between 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
