John Mason Memorial Cup – Honouring a True Club Legend

NYP Dragons and Wodonga Water Polo Club are proud to announce the inaugural John Mason Memorial Cup, a tournament dedicated to celebrating the spirit of our past president, coach, referee and player, John Mason—a truly wonderful man who was the backbone of our club for many years.

Taking place on October 4th and 5th, 2025, this special event will be hosted across Albury and Wodonga pool facilities, bringing together water polo players to compete, connect, and honour John’s incredible legacy.

NYP aims to take 2 womens teams and at least 2 mens teams!

Open to players turning 16 in 2025 and above, the tournament will feature Men’s and Women’s divisions (with the potential to have A & B divisions within these as well) 

We are seeking expressions of interest from NYP Dragons players keen to take part in this meaningful event. If you’re ready to represent the Dragons and be part of something special, let us know!
