Northern Tasmania Softball Association (NTSA) is a fastpitch softball assosiation for players from the age of 5 upwards for both male and female of all sporting abilities.
Fastpitch softball is played mostly on Saturdays at Churchill Park Sports Complex, Invermay. Our season commences early October and concludes end of March. Presently we have two clubs, Eagles and Saints, both field teams in each division.
NTSA offers the following:
Tee Ball has 2 for players from 5 to 10 years. From 5 to 7 year we offer Batter up. a fun games based skills development program aimed at teaching kids how to throw, catch and hit the ball. This only goes for about 45mins to keep the kds attention. and for the older kids between 8 and 10 We have Tee Ball.
Junior fastpitch competition for children aged between 12 and 16 and again for male and female.
Senior men and women fastpitch games.
Duration of junior and senior games are 90 minutes.
Fastpitch softball is a fun, family friendly sport and NTSA is an inclusive association and would welcome any new members.
