Welcome to the online registrations portal for the NSW Junior Volunteers. The NSW Juniors championships will see NSW's best junior athletes compete in a vairety of track and fields events at Sydney Olympic Park from the 21st to the 23rd of February. Athletics NSW is seeking volunteers to assist the staff and technical officials with the running of this competition. In addition to the NSW Junior Championships, Athletics Australia are hosting the Sydney Track Classic, which is an elite high performance event that bring Australia's best track and field athletes to Sydney Olympic Park. This event is taking place on the Saturday night. 

Each volunteer will recevie an athletics NSW Cap and drink bottle and meals will be catered. Athletics NSW can also provide a proof of volunteering certificate upon request. 

The times needed are outlined below with the days split into two session. The volunteer roles available include:

Athlete Check In: helping the ANSW staff and officials to distribute bibs, answer enquires and mark attendance. Time commitment is one hour earlier than all other roles and will finish one hour earlier.

Administration Assistant: assisting competition management with administrative duties

Field Assistant: involves working alongside the officials to run the events out on the field of play

Post event: helping the officials in coordinating the athletes after their events and assisting with medal presentations

Athlete Kit Carrier: Assiting the call room, by transporting the athletes kit to the post event area for each race (Sydney Track Classic Only)

Athlete Transport: Assisting Athletics NSW with the pick up and drop off of athletes from the airport, accomodation and track. You must hold a full NSW Driver Licence. (Sydney Track Classic Only)
