Athletics NSW is excited to open the nominations for the 2024 NSW Country Championships!

NSW Country Championships will be held at Kerryn McCann Athletics Centre, Wollongong on Friday 19th to Sunday 21st January.

All appointed officials will be notified via email, along with the appointments being uploaded onto the website and Social Scheduler in November 2023. 

If you are interested in officiating at an event but also your child is competing, please select 'yes' and we can make arrangements around timing, closer to the event. Half day availability is also more than acceptable.

In recognition of the numerous hours that Technical Officials all work in helping the sport of  athletics in regional areas on top of Athletis NSW contribution of $80 per day (or $40 for half a day) of service, ANSW would like to offer Technical Officials two nights accommodation at the event on the evenings of Friday 19th and Saturday 20th January 2024. Please select in your nomination if you would like to take up this offer.

If Technical Officials would like to extend their stay at the accommodation that they can contact Mary Macaluso so it can be arranged that you do not need to change rooms half way through your stay.

Nominations will close at 11:45pm on Friday 13th October 2023.

Do you know someone who would like to volunteer without a qualification?

If you have any family of friends that would love to volunteer but do not have an Officials qualifications, not a problem! We would love for them to be involved,  just get them to contact volunteers@nswathletics.org.au
