Athletics NSW is excited to open the nominations for the NSW Milers Series: Bankstown on Thursday 2nd February.

NSW Milers Series will be held at the The Crest, Bankstown on Thursday 2nd Febrary 2023. 

Please note: the time of day of the event is to be confirmed.

Long Jump

The NSW Milers Series is delivered by under the silver tier of Athletics NSW competition structure.

Under the new competitiion structure the NSW Milers Series has been ratified by World Athletics and Athletics Australia with a WA Permit. Athletes can qualify for international and national competition, accumulate World Athletics ranking points, break Athletics NSW and Athletics Australian records, and have their performances added to World Athletics top lists. 

Due to the new sanctioning of permit events, Athletics NSW's role is to call for nominations and to only appoint senior officiating positions such as Technical Delegate, Chief Photo Finish, Track Referee, Field Referee and Start Area Co-ordinator. ANSW will still call for nominations for all officiating positions and in consultation with the host club appoint all other positions.

Officials who nominate for an event will be appointed, unless in certain circumstances. All appointed officials will be notified via email, along with the appointments being uploaded onto the website. 

If you are interested in officiating at an event but also your child is competing, please select 'yes' and we can make arrangements around timing, closer to the event. Half day availability is also more than acceptable.

Nominations will close at 11:45pm on Sunday 8th January 2023.
