Athletics NSW is excited to open the nominations for the 2022 Illwarra Track Challenge (including the NSW 60m & 1 Mile  State Championships) and supporting field events.

Illwarra Track Challenge will be held at the The Crest, Bankstown  on Saturday 14th January. 

Under the new competitiion structure the Illwarra Track Challenge has been awarded Gold Tier Status. Gold events on the calendar are clubled, oneday events with a focus on both performance and experience, suitable for athletes of all abilities, ages and aspirations.

Please note: the time of day of the event is to be confirmed.

Officials who nominate for an event will be appointed, unless in certain circumstances. All appointed officials will be notified via email, along with the appointments being uploaded onto the website. 

If you are interested in officiating at an event but also your child is competing, please select 'yes' and we can make arrangements around timing, closer to the event. Half day availability is also more than acceptable.

Do you know someone who would like to volunteer without a qualification?

If you have any family of friends that would love to volunteer but do not have an Officials qualifications, not a problem! We would love for them to be involved,  just get them to contact volunteers@nswathletics.org.au
