Officiating Athletics in NSW
In 2023, Athletics NSW is wanting to do more to recognise and reward Technical Officials when they officiate at Athletics NSW events. Technical Officials have always been a volunteer role, however with the rising costs of living it is now costing our very dedicated volunteers to volunteer.
Any Technical Officials appointed to officate at an Athletics event in NSW will have to meet a minium requirement to be eligable for the reimbursement. It is our hope that, feedback from Technical Officials and the wider athletics community that this is a positive initiative to help us value these hard working volunteers and hopefully provide an additional incitive for people to become officials.
