Welcome to the first official Hobie 14 Coaching Camp. 

Current World Champ and President of the NSWHCA, Paddy Butler, is the one of the newest qualified Sailing Coaches with Australian Sailing. With the 24/25 sailing season in it's early days, and Wildcat Regatta the following, what better time to freshen up our skills with some of the best Hobie 14 sailors in the world leading the way.

The Vincentia Sailing Club in Jervis Bay is the optimal location for a weekend of sailing the Hobie 14, with one the largest current fleet in the country racing regularly.

See below for the current schedule of the weekend, with more details to follow:

• Friday 27/09: Twilight send-it session
  • Starting from 1400hrs, a theory/water based pre-session will take place at the VSC
• Saturday 28/09: land-based & on-water coaching
  • On water from 0900hrs. First practice race not before 10am.
  • Lunch break from 1330hrs (AFL Grand Final viewing session).
  • Afternoon session weather (and celebration) dependent.
• Sunday 29/09: VSC single-handed Club Championship (short course racing putting skills into practice).
  • No warning signal before 0930hrs. Single-session 4-5 races, followed by lunch.
