NSDSA Under 12s

Our Under 12 program sees the removal of the tee and the introduction of live pitch with modified softball rules. State Championships is a great experience for our little greenies to start hitting a live pitch and for our new pitchers and catchers to learn the ropes.

2024 Under 12 Information

2024 Key Information:

State Championship Date: Friday 5 to Sunday 7 April 2024
Host: Softball Campbelltown
Venue: Macquarie Fields, Ingleburn
EOIs: Completed: Request for expressions of interest were released in November 2023
Trial Date: Completed: 10 December 2023 at St. Ives from 9am - 12pm

Eligibility:

To be eligible to nominate for the NSDSA Under 12 Representative team you must be:

First registered with a North Shore District Softball Association Club and registered for the 2023-24 softball membership
Under 12 years of age, and no younger than 8 years of age, as at 31 December in the year of the Championship
Available for the above State Championship dates

To be eligible to nominate for the NSDSA Under 12 Development team you must be:

First registered with a North Shore District Softball Association Club and registered for the 2023-24 softball membership
Under 12 years of age, and no younger than 8 years of age, as at 31 December in the year of the Championship

The U12 Rep Team is primarily for those players turning 10 and 11 in 2024 whilst the U12 Dev Team is primarily for those players turning 8 and 9 in 2024. Consideration may be given to players from the younger age group for the Rep Team.
