NSDSA Under 10s

Our youngest representative team at North Shore is our Under 10s, affectionately known as our little greenies. This is the grass roots of our program and many life-long friendships have grown from this experience. Our program, led by experiened representative coaches, builds the foundational skills of softball focusing on throwing, catching and batting skills. It also incorporates the basics of game play and lots of fun activities along the way.

2024 Under 10 Information

Key Information:

State Championship Date: Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December 2024
Host: Hornsby District Softball Association
Venue: H ayes Park, Galston
EOIs: 14 July 2024
Trial Date: 11 August 2024

Eligibility:

To be eligible to nominate for the NSDSA Under 10 Representative or Development Teams, you must be:

First registered with a North Shore District Softball Association Club
Under 10 years of age, and no younger than 6 years of age, as at 31 December in the year of the Championship

Note:

The Under 10 Representative team is primarily for players turning 8 and 9 in the year of the championships
The Under 10 Development team is for those players turning 6 and 7.
Consideration may be given to players from the younger age group for the representative team.
