Want to learn how to umpire or brush up on your umpiring skills?   

Whether you're keen to try out umpiring, build confidence for your club umpiring duties or just brush up on your skills, this is a great course to get started! Led by our Umpire in Chief, Duncan Lapsley, and our team of experienced Senior Blues, these umpire training sessions aim to build technical knowledge, provide practical coaching and get you ready to umpire this winter season and/or prepare you for your Level 1 Accrediation.

All are welcome!

Session 2: Plate Mechanics - Register Now!

  • When: Friday 14 June
  • From: 6:30pm to 8:30pm - please arrive at 6:15pm for a 6:30pm start
  • Where: Moved to North St. Ives Scout Hall, 161 Warrimoo Oval, Warrimoo Ave, St. Ives Chase (junction of Warrimoo Ave and Gould Ave)
  • Clothing: Loose warm clothes, cap and counter (if you have one) plus notebook and pen. Bring a rain jacket if light rain is forecasted. Please also bring a softball glove if you have one. 
  • Note: We will proceed unless diamonds are too wet OR if there is heavy rain.
  • RSVP: Please register so we can notify you if there are any changes.
