North Shore is calling for Expressions of Interest from players to trial for the Northern Titans team participating in the Waratah League.  

Trials will be held on Sunday 10th March 2024 from 3pm to 5pm at St Ives. The team will be announced shortly after the trials, with training requirements to be confirmed with the team once selected.

Please do not wear any rep or state uniforms to the trials but of course, club uniforms or other training gear is absolutely fine.

Eligibility: 

To be eligible to nominate for the Northern Titans Team and participate in the Waratah League, you must:

• Be at least 14 years of age as at 31st December 2024
• Be first registered with North Shore or another Association affiliated with Softball NSW.  If you are unsure, please contact your club or association registrar. 
• Not have participated in the Under 23 and/or Open National Championships, representing any state or territory in the previous three (3) years ending 31 December 2024
• Not have represented Australia in the previous five (5) years ending on 31st December 2024. ‘Australian’ representation is considered for the following teams: Open Women (Aussie Spirit), Open Men (Aussie Steelers), Under 23 Women, Under 23 Men, Under 18/19 Women (Junior Spirit), Under 18/19 Men (Junior Steelers).

Each team roster may include a maximum of four (4) players who have participated in the Under 18/19 and/or Over 35 National Championships in the previous three (3) years ending on 31 December 2024, representing any state or territory, provided they are not excluded by the criteria noted above. We encourage players who meet this criteria to submit and Expression of Interest. If we receive nominations above the maximum allowed, we will liaise with players individually.
