NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

MONDAY 11 SEPTEMBER 2023

Time: 7.00pm

North Shore District Softball Association Inc is pleased to advise our Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday 11 September 2023. The meeting is to be held in person at The Turramurra Club, 181 Bobbin Head Road, North Turramurra, with an online option available for attendance, if required.

COMMITEE NOMINATIONS

In accordance with our Constitution, nominations are now called for elected Committee Member and Officer Bearer positions.

Nominations must be received on the prescribed nomination form by the Secretary no later than 7.00pm Thursday 31 August 2023 (by email to: secretary@nsdsa.org.au ).

All positions are available for re-election, as per our Constitution. Position Descriptions can be viewed here.

If anyone is considering nominating for the committee or would like more information, please do not hesitate to reach out to any of the existing committee members who would be happy to answer any questions.

NOTICES OF MOTION

Notices of Motion from Clubs are welcome for inclusion as special business at the AGM and must also be received by the Secretary no later than 7.00pm Thursday 31 August 2023 by email as above.

Clubs are also encouraged to consider nominations for Life Members at this time.

HOW ELSE CAN YOU HELP?

If you can’t commit to a committee position but would like to volunteer your time, please also let us know. We are always looking for people to assist with key activities that may happen only once a year, or a little more regularly and are ongoing, but do not require committee attendance. Your commitment may be as little as an hour a year, or an hour a week.

The more people who can help, the more effective our committee can be in supporting the Association to both operate effectively and to focus on the future growth and sustainability of our sport.

If you think maybe that this involvement would suit you better, we would be very excited to talk about how you can help.
