NSDSA is excited to invite players to participate in the NSDSA Development Program for players in the Under 14 and Under 16 age groups. The Development Program is an integral part of the North Shore representative pathway and provides players, who are interested in being to part of future representative teams, the opportunity to develop their skills and confidence in a fun and engaging way, supported by experienced representative and specialist coaches. 

The format of the program in 2023 will be designed to align to the capability and the number players interested in taking part. 

Potential program details: 

• The program will run for 4-6 weeks starting after July school holidays commencing on Sunday 16 July 
• Training and skills sessions on Wednesday 6-8.30pm and/or Sunday 9-12pm 
• Potential for 1-2 all day gala days on a Sunday, competing against other U14/U16 development and representative teams from across the metropolitan area 

Eligibility:

To participate in the NSDSA Development Program, players must be: 

• First registered with a North Shore District Softball Association Club and fully registered for the 2023 winter season. If you are unsure, please make contact with your club or association registrar
• Under 16 years of age, and no younger than 12 years of age, as at 31 December 2023
• Available and committed to attend Development Program sessions as scheduled
