This regatta is the first in the Traveller Series. It is usually held on Easter weekend. When you arrive, you will drop your boat off in the rigging area in front of the club and proceed to park in the car park. The club has 2 levels with a lovely veranda overlooking the rigging park and ocean. The upper level has a restaurant. There are shops within walking distance, 5 to 10 minutes away. There are lots of takeaway shops and restaurants to choose from, but depending on time frames, you may not have sufficient time to purchase lunch unless you are super organised. The restaurant at the club offers meals to our sailors and families. We will contact the club to enquire about canteen facilities closer to the event. Last year, many families found it easier to prepare lunch and snacks to bring to the regatta. Some years, the club offers camping at the club premise. We will let you know closer to the date but as it is a busy time of the year and it is AIRLIE BEACH, it is good to book something in advance. The accommodation range is huge. There are supermarkets, restaurants and just about every type of shop you can think of. Lots of families like to walk around the town centre looking for a meal at night. The Club is fully licensed, so BYO is strictly not allowed. This year, there will be a movie shown for all attendees on Saturday night.
