Welcome to North Queensland Sabot Association (NQSA)

The North Queensland Sabot Association represents the Sabot sailing dinghy class from Thursday Island down to St Lawrence and across to the Northern Territroy border from Mt Isa north. Our members are sailors who are enthusiastic participants in Sabot sailing and their parents and families. For more than 75 years (1946-), young Australians have been introduced to the sport and social benefits of sailing at club, region, state and national levels in Sabot sailing dinghies. The NQSA's goal is to offer a fun and family-friendly environment that builds confident young sailors on the racecourse, and fosters a lifelong interest in the sport of sailing.
