Australian Purple Warriors is a dragon boat club for serving and retired members of the ADF, who have an impairment as a result of their service to this country. NQ Phoenix is Townsville's feeder club for the Purple Warriors.

The Townsville Purple Warriors crew will train with the NQ Phoenix Dragon Boat Club, but will race against other Purple Warrior crews.
