The SENIOR WINTER COMP ROUND 1 is on Sunday 14th August, ROUND 2 is Sunday 4th September.

THE CANBERRA WATER POLO ACADEMY’S JUNIOR DOLPHINS PROGRAM is for kids aged 7 – 13 who are interested in trying the sport of water polo.
The Junior Dolphins program is a fun introduction to the sport of water polo and sessions will comprise of basic skill training and modified games. The only requirement to join is that your child can swim 25 meters Freestyle.
The Junior Dolphins program is for beginners and is the pathway to Nordek’s U12’s & U14’s programs.
There are programs at CISAC, Stromlo & Queanbeyan.

CANBERRA SCHOOLS COMPETITION FOR HIGH SCHOOL TEAMS
In Term 3 2022, the Canberra Water Polo Academy (CWPA) is launching the Canberra Schools Competition for students in years 7-12.
CWPA support the schools by supplying all the equipment necessary to participate, which includes caps and balls. They can also provide a coach if a school requires one. No previous Water Polo experience is required, if students are confident in deep water, they can participate.
It’s a 7 week comp starting on 5th August. There are two grades: 7-8 and 9-12.
Your teachers can help you get a team together and there are information flyers for students & teachers available on the website.

AUSTRALIAN YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIPS
Water Polo Australia have recently announced the dates for the 2023 Australian Youth Water Polo Championships in Perth, and Nordek will be sending U14s teams 1 x Girls and 1 x Boys.
Some information about the comp -
Dates, 9-13 January 2023: 14&U (Boys and Girls), Ages, Born 2009, 2010, 2011
Venues, to be confirmed but will be various pools around Perth

There are still details to be confirmed, what we need from you now is an expression of interest to attend the competition, this would include agreeing to the following.
Travel to and from Perth, players would travel and stay with family for the duration of the comp.
Dates of availability, arrival in Perth 8th January up to the last game on the 13th January
Be available for training sessions leading up, Cost for Registration, Coaches and other TBA
Could please confirm interest with the player’s name and if you are interested in the group accommodation booking.
