WPACT AWARDS NIGHT Friday 15th March
We’re just over a couple of weeks away from the inaugural @waterpolo.act Awards Night, and things are beginning to ramp up!
Water Polo ACT will be hosting its first ever dedicated awards night in March 2024. The awards night aims to recognise members for their exceptional achievements and contribution towards Water Polo ACT in 2023 & 2024.
Check out the details below for the upcoming evening:
When – Friday, March 15th, 2024
Where – The Jetty, Queen Elizabeth Terrace
Dress Code – Cocktail
Time – 6:00pm – 9:30pm

Nominations are open for all WPACT members to recognise outstanding contributions in our community. Visit the Awards Night page on the WPACT website to purchase your tickets and to nominate some of our amazing Nordek club members as recipients for the following awards:
Stuart Heddle Award – Volunteer of the Year
Coach of the Year
Senior Official of the Year
Junior Official of the Year
Community award nominations are still open and close this Friday 1st March 2024. Access the nomination form HERE.
Additionally, team coaches and captains can cast their votes for the summer season MVPs for their respective age group, gender, and division. A summer season ‘tournament team’ (top 7 voted players) will selected for each division from the votes, and the top vote getter will be named MVP.
The tournament team for each grade will be announced before the Awards Night, and the MVPs will be announced on the Awards night where they will receive their MVP trophy.

2024 Inter School Gala Days
The school water polo gala day is an initiative from Water Polo ACT to help engage high school students to play the great sport of water polo. The competition is played in a social spirit with no playing experience required.
