The 2017 edition of the Hunter Cup is now being organised. The competition is aimed as a competitive pre season event for higher level club teams,
but will include a competition for lower level mens club teams to also participate.
So just how will the competition work?
The competition will be a 1 day event to be held on Sunday March 12th 2017 at the
Newcastle International Hockey Center, using the 3 water turfs. Hope to run the following:
†Mens Hunter Cup
†Womens Hunter Cup
†Mens Presidents Cup (lower graded sides)
Umpiring
All teams will provide an umpire who will be rostered to umpire games on the day. This is not negotiable, games do not go ahead without umpires.
Costs
All teams will pay a $270 entry fee.
