Our Commitment
At Newman Breakers Water Polo Club, we are committed to providing a safe, fun and respectful environment for all Junior water polo players. We believe in fostering positive behaviours that promote teamwork, sportsmanship and personal growth.
Code of Conduct
As a member of the Newman Breakers Water Polo Club, I understand and agree to adhere to the following code of conduct:

Respect: I will treat my fellow players, coaches, referees, and spectators with respect and courtesy at all times.

Sportsmanship: I will display good sportsmanship, both in victory and defeat, and I will not engage in unsportsmanlike conduct.

Safety: I will prioritise safety in and around the pool, following all safety guidelines and instructions from coaches and lifeguards.

Effort: I will give my best effort during training and games, always striving to improve my skills and contribute positively to the team.

Punctuality: I will arrive on time for training and games, showing responsibility and consideration for my teammates.
Unacceptable Behaviour
The following behaviours are considered unacceptable and may result in disciplinary actions:

Bullying: Any form of bullying, harassment, or intimidation towards teammates or opponents will not be tolerated.

Disrespect: Disrespectful language or behaviour towards coaches, referees, or teammates is unacceptable.

Dangerous Play: Engaging in actions that endanger the safety of others will not be tolerated.
Disciplinary actions
Depending on the severity of the behaviour, the following disciplinary actions may apply:

First Offense: A verbal warning and discussion with the player.

Second Offense: Removal from the pool during training with a discussion with the player and their parent.

Third Offense: Suspension from training for a designated period, with a meeting involving the player, their parent, and the coaching staff.
Severe Offense: Suspension from games, with a mandatory meeting involving the player, their parent, and the Club committee.
