Flippaball 2024/25
It’s easy to join Newman Breakers Water Polo Club and no matter what your level of skill or experience we welcome all newcomers to the sport.
Flippaball provides an introduction to water polo for children in school years 3 to 6. It is a fun, simple game that can be played by children who have attained a minimum level 6, of the Department of Education's Swimming and Water Safety Continuum (or equivalent).

This competition is a modified, non-contact social competition using developmental rules and is played on Friday evenings. The objectives are to:
- provide a safe and age appropriate introduction to the sport of water polo;
- introduce water polo skills, movements and tactics to develop the correct skills in players;
- give everybody the opportunity to play water polo – regardless of their ability, or awareness of the sport; and
- deliver an the ability for clubs, coaches, families and communities to connect and enjoy the sport of water polo.
