Course Overview

This course is an introduction to the basic concepts of inshore navigation and safety in an easy to understand online format.

RYA Essential Navigation & Seamanship provides a solid base of knowledge for taking your sailing boat on short coastal passages and to prepare for an International Certificate of Competence (ICC) assessment. 

So . . . If you are preparing for your first coastal passages then course is an ideal starting point.

None.

Course Duration

Approximately 8 hours to complete

Course Outcome

On successful completion, you will receive the ‘RYA Essential Navigation & Seamanship Certificate’.
