Newcastle Grammar School - Year 9 Outdoor Education
We look forward to welcoming you for a learn-to-sail session on our fleet of Force 24 inshore keelboats. Everyone will be actively involved in sailing the boats, pulling ropes, changing sides in tacks and working together to make the boat sail smoothly. Each boat will carry one instructor and up to a maximum of four students.
Lifejackets will be provided and must be worn at all times whilst over water or whilst afloat.

Overview
OutThere Sailing Experience sessions are all about having fun and getting a taste for on water activities. This action-packed program will give you the opportunity to try one or all the following, sailing, windsurfing, stand up paddle boarding, powerboating and keelboating. Depending on your club, experience sessions will be held over 2-4 hours.
Prerequisites
Water confident.
Who should do this experience?
This experience is designed for participants who are 12-17 years-old looking to try a new activity, have some fun and engage with other teenagers.
