Reflections OutThere Sailing Program
We are pleased to welcome participants to our fun and active Reflections OutThere Sailing PROGRAM ONE for Term 1, 2025.
This course will include FIVE sessions, conducted on consecutive Tuesday afternoons on the dates listed above.
All session times are 4:30pm to 7:00pm
The NCYC Sailing Academy abides by the Australian Sailing instructor:student ratios, hence places are strictly limited. To avoid disapointment, we recommend registering early.
The registration fee for this five-week course is $200.
Sailing will be conducted on the Club's fleet of Force 24 keelboats, which carry an Instructor and up to four course participants. We'll be introducing the option to go sailing on a Pacer dinghy to further improve sailing skills & experience. Boats will be sailed inshore on the waters of Newcastle Harbour.
The program, for sailors aged 11 to 17 years, allows both complete novices to learn to sail and experienced dinghy sailors a guided transition into keelboat sailing. By running the two levels of the program side-by-side sailors can see the progressions available.
