Start Skippering
We are pleased to welcome participants to our Adult Learn to Sail Program (Start Skippering) for August 2024. This course will include four sessions, conducted over the dates as listed above.
All session times are 9:00am to 12:30pm
Training will be conducted on the Club's fleet of Force 24 keelboats, which carry an Instructor and up to four course participants. The boats will be sailed inshore on the water of Newcastle Harbour.
It is expected that participants have completed Start Crewing & Start Helming courses or have knowledge and experience to that level.
The NCYC Sailing Academy abides by the Australian Sailing instructor:student ratios, hence places are strictly limited. To avoid disapointment, we recommend registering early.
The registration fee for this course is $375.

Current financial NCYC members are offered a discount on training courses - 10% for General Members and 5% for Crew Members.
Payment Plans
We do offer weekly payment plans in order to pay for the course in equal instalments over a nominated period. Full payment must be received prior to the course commencement date. Please contact the Sailing Office to arrange set up.
Course Attendance
