Tackers Refresher

We are pleased to welcome participants to our Tackers Refresh Program for September 2021.  Come and clear away the winter cobwebs at our spring refresh days!

These individual sessions will help if you are a little worried that you might have forgotten your skills over winter (or it's just an extra chance to get back on the water!).  The Tackers Refresher day provides a fun reintroduction to sailing, with qualified instructors on hand to remind you how great sailing can be.

You can join in one or all of the individual refresher sessions.  We will group sailors based on their skill level to get them ready for a summer of sailing fun!

All session times are 9:00am to 12:00pm, with a quick 15 minute snack break mid-session.  

Training will be conducted in the Club's fleet of OziOpti Tacker dinghies

PRE REQUISITE: Must have completed Tackers 1

The NCYC Sailing Academy abides by the Australian Sailing instructor/student ratios, hence places are strictly limited.  To avoid disapointment, we recommend registering early.

The registration fee for this session is $40.

Member Discounts

Current financial NCYC members are offered a discount on training courses for their children or grandchildren - 10% for General Members and 5% for Crew Members.

COVID Safe Business

The NCYC Sailing Academy is a registered COVID Safe Business with NSW Health.

Courses will be conducted under the current guidelines of the Academy's COVID Safety Plan.  Participant COVID Guidelines are available on our website.  Any questions or concerns should be directed to the Sailing Office.
