COME JOIN IN THE FUN IN OUR WATER POLO DEVELOPMENT TRAINING SQUADS

Our Term 3, 2019 Water Polo program will commence on Sunday 28th July, 2019 and run through to Sunday 22nd September 2019 -  9 weeks/sessions in total. The cost = $135 per player.

The focus for this term is on Skills, Drills and Technique development and each session will comprise of the following:-

• 15 minute out of water ball skills and land warm-up
• 15/20 minute in the water of a specific skill training, ie counter attack, passing and shooting etc...
• the remainder of the lesson will be a game scenario, putting into practice the skill learnt...

Jemma, Dean, Joe, and Kate are all back Coaching and are being supported by our U18 boys and girls together with our experienced players.  We are so lucky to have them to share their knowledge and experience.

Participating in these sessions is part of the pathway to being selected in the SNB Breakers Representative teams for Metro, State and Nationals.  Player development is continually assessed by our Coaches so as to provide them with best opportunity to be the best player they can be.

Swimming is a very important part of being a sucessfull Water Polo player.  Any player wishing to go to the next level, it is highly recommended that you join Swim squad training once or twice a week.

Each session has limited numbers,  so be quick to book.  When registering for the event, please be careful that you choose the correct  "session number", time and age applicable to your child.

To Register:-

STEP 1  -  All NEW players/participants (those who have not participated in a water polo program with the Northern Beaches Water Polo Academy, previously) are required to register as a Junior Member of the Northern Beaches Water Polo Academy and pay the $14 registration/membership fee.

Click on the "REGISTRATION" tab, it will open to the Registration page, and you either REGISTER or RENEW.  You will be emailed a username and password (please check spam emails) to login to register for the event.  Please note, that if you pay the $14 fee by credit card you can proceed to the next step of registering for the EVENT..  If you pay the $14 fee by direct deposit, this fee is required to be reconciled on my end before you can proceed to registering for the EVENT.

STEP 2  -  Registering for the EVENT, Click on the EVENTS tab on the Northern Beaches Water Polo Academy home page... Select your EVENT, read the information carefully, and complete the details.

Late registrations will only be accepted if there are spots available and will incur an extra $20 fee.

WATER POLO IS A GREAT WAY TO KEEP FIT AND MAKE NEW FRIENDS

Children must be able to swim competently and unassisted

It is important to note that these session are for the development of Water Polo skills and should not replace regular swimming lessons
