'BATTLE AT THE BEACHES'
Junior Water Polo Tournament - July School Holidays
For the 4th Year in a row, SNB Breakers are hosting this Tournament. The focus is on having fun with your mates from Surf Club, Soccer, Netball, Footy, Softball etc, and playing Water Polo along the way.
DATES:- Tuesday 16th, Wednesday 17th & Thursday 18th, July 2019
VENUE:- Warringah Aquatic Centre, Frenches Forest
ENTRY - REGISTERING FOR THE EVENT IS A TWO STEP PROCESS.....
Firstly, the Coach/Manager is to submit a TEAM ENTRY, which is to include the list of players:- Team entries will close 5 July, 2019 - Teams are to consist of a minimum of 8 players, maximum of 10 players per team.
Secondly, all players must register and pay individually and this is to be completed, separately, by 12th July, 2019. After this date a $20 late fee will apply.
COST - $80 per player - Which includes entry into the facility each day of the Tournament, plus covers 1 Coach and 1 Manager for each team each day.
Parents and Spectators are required to pay each day of attendance.
AGE GROUP:- Born 06 and younger... All players must be able to swim independently and competently.
DIVISIONS - (subject to team entries)
Division 1 – Metro Level
Division 2 – Local/School Competition Level
Division 3 – Flippaball/Beginner

TOURNAMENT RULES
- Teams must be ready to start on time, be ready 5 mins prior to your game. The clock will start ready or not. Both pools will start simultaneously
- The team named first on the draw will wear white caps and start from diving board side.
- Players must wear the same cap number for the whole tournament... it will be listed on the pre printed scorecards.
- Division 1 will use size 4 ball, Division 2 will use size 2, however if both Coaches agree a size 4 can be used.
- Division 1,2 and 3 will play with 6 players (5 field, 1 GK)
- Games will be 4 x 5 minute quarters, 1 minute break between 1st and 2nd quarter and 3rd and 4th quarter. 2 minute break at half time with teams to change ends. There will be no shot clock (turnover at Referees discretion), no 5 metre penalties, no goals scored from free throws or from the defending half. If excluded, the player is to swim to allocated corner, touch and return to play.
- A maximum of 10 players to be used with a minimum of 8. In case of insufficient players in a team, additional players will be allocated at the discretion of the Carnival Co-ordinator
- Results will be recorded - 3 for a WIN, 2 for a DRAW, 2 for a loss...
