This is the link to register if you are playing in the Term 1, 2024  Friday Night  Junior Development Water Polo Competition being held at Manly Swim Centre (MAC). Commencing on Friday 9th February 2024 through to 22 March 2024 - 7 weeks

Friday Nights will be for the more Experienced group of boys and girls in the following age groups = Born 2010/2011 experienced 2012.  Players outside this age group can seek an exemption, by submitting an email to nbwaterpoloa@gmail.com for consideration.

  • The link will open on Friday 8th December 2023 at 8am
  • Registrations will close on Friday 2nd February 2024 at 12noon.  Registrations after this time will incurr a late fee of $25.  Late registrations are subject to team availability.

Important Note - You will need to know your "Team Name", and some players in your team, and the Team Manager/Contact to complete your registration.  If you do not know your team name or players in your team please mark "no team" in the checkbox, please mention what friends you would like to play with.  Every consideration will be given to requests, but no guarantees.

Friday Night Junior Competition @ Manly Swim Aquatic Centre & Warringah Aquatic Centre

  • Starts:  9 February 2024 through to 22 March 2024
  • Time:  Games are scheduled from 7pm through to 9pm
  • Cost:  $88 per player
  • Teams:  6 players (5 field + GK) in the water at any one time - Only 4 Metro players allowed per team (NO CLUB SWIMMERS TO BE WORN)
  • Game Time:  4 x 5 minute quarters
  • Competitions:-

Sunday Nights will be for the Newbie group of boys and girls in the following age groups - Born 2012, 2013 & 2014.  Players outside this age group can seek an exemption by submitting an email to nbwaterpoloa@gmail.com for consideration

We are open to accepting mixed gender teams too for either Friday and Sunday competitions....

If you are new player to the Northern Beaches Water Polo Academy, please complete the NEW MEMBER registration.

All players must be registered with the NORTHERN BEACHES WATER POLO ACADEMY - THE WATER POLO SCHOOL prior to registering for any EVENTS.  Any player not registered or who has fees outstanding from previous events will NOT be allowed to participate until the registration and payment has been fully processed.

STEP 1

  • All NEW players are required to register as a New Member 2023-2024 season with the Northern Beaches Water Polo Academy - The Water Polo School or their School (St Augustines, St Lukes and Pittwater House) 
  • Click on the Registration link above:-
    • If you are a new player and never registered with the Northern Beaches Water Polo Academy last season, click on  NEW MEMBER
    • If you are a player who has participated in one of our sessions previously, click on RETURNING MEMBER
  • This step needs to be completed before you can move to Step 2.

STEP 2

  • Register for the EVENT you wish to attend… Please choose carefully. Payment for the Event is required during this process, so please have your Credit/Debit card handy.

THE "NO PAY, NO PLAY" RULE…. WILL BE ENFORCED.

This "development" competition has been designed to teach the basic skills required for water polo junior development with the emphasis on “FUN and PARTICIPATION” and the development of water confidence and water skills.

CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED BY THEIR PARENTS AT ALL TIMES

WATERPOLO IS A GREAT WAY TO KEEP FIT AND MAKE NEW FRIENDS

Children must be able to swim competently and unassisted

The Event Fee for the competition does not include pool entry into the Manly Swim Centre or Warringah Aquatic Centre
