Competitive Senior RG is for our members aged 12 Years and above*.
Younger Gymnasts may be invited to participate in Senior RG, or if your child has previous experience please contact the Club Owner directly to discuss.
Senior RG classes work towards achieving advanced skills and body elements (balances, turns, leaps/jumps) and apparatus movements.
Senior RG develops skill in higher difficulty throw and catch elements with rotation beneath, acrobatic skill and apparatus difficulty elements (combining apparatus movements with acrobatic/body elements).
Competitive classes still incorporate fun and friendship but the class is focused on preparing the gymnast to attend competitions later in the year. Skills are strengthened and cleaned then put together into routines that the Gymnasts learns and competes.
Members have the option to move between recreational and competitive Senior RG Classes.
This class option will enrol your child into Saturday Morning training sessions from 8:30am to 12pm.
*Age determined by how old they are turning this year, i.e. 12 = 11 turning, or has turned, 12 years old.
