All training sessions are held at Grevillea Park, Menindee Drive, Barton.
NAVMAT trains several times per week throughout the year and sessions are often targeted for paddlers according to their needs and as preparations during the regatta season. You are encouraged to attend the session that best fit you current ability and availability.
SUMMER TRAINING
Monday Morning Squad*: 5.45am for warm up
On water training, focusing on technique, race practice. and endurance.
One hour session
Tuesday and Thursday Evenings: 5:45pm
Warm ups, technique, race practice and endurance, warm downs.
One hour session
Saturday Squad*: 7.00am
On water training, focusing on technique, race practice. and endurance.
1.5 hour session
Saturday Basic Training; 8.45am
Basic technique training for beginners which includes a coffee stop at the National Museum
Session finishes about 11.00am
WINTER TRAINING
