The NAVMAT Dragon Boat Club is dedicated to the exciting water sport of Dragon Boat racing. Our philosophy is to inspire new paddlers of any age to love dragon boating in a supportive environment. We are socially minded, thrive on competition and sometimes bring home the trophies!

Register for a 'Dragon Pass' which gives you a temporary membership so you can try dragon boating for ONE MONTH FREE. You can then participate in our Saturday 'The Coffee Run' session to ensure you learn the basic technique from our amazing coaches. You will experience the thrill of the sport without too much effort, with an amazing group of people while in a supportive environment.

We train all year round on Lake Burley Griffin, from Grevillea Park, Menindee Drive, Barton, just off Moreshead Drive. Check out our training times for more details.

Whatever your current fitness level is we are happy to support you as you achieve your fitness goals. Stick with us and we can guarantee your fitness will improve! We welcome all genders and age groups (12+ years), and our friendly coaches will show you the basics of paddling in one of the best dragon boat racing teams in Canberra.
