Newstead Athletics School Series Cross Country – Hagley Farm School

Clear 13℃ sunny conditions greeted athletes for week 3 of the Newstead Athletics Cross Country held at the picturesque Hagley Farm School.

A huge thank you to Hagley Farm School & their team of volunteers for the course marking & hosting such a beautiful run.

Special mention for the day has to go to Isabella Morcom of Invermay Primary for showing exceptional sportsmanship when she helped a fellow runner up who had fallen over & finished the run with her. The School series cross country is about fun, friendship & enjoying sport, Isabella’s display of kindness showed the true spirit of the event.
