Notice of Newstead Athletics Annual General Meeting

Notice is hereby given that the Newstead Athletics Annual General Meeting is to be held on Wednesday 26^th May 2021 at the St Leonards Athletics club and VIA Zoom at 7:00 pm. 

All members, life members, officials and participants are encouraged to attend. Voting rights are as per the club constitution which can be viewed on our web site.  Nomination form and agenda are also available on the web site.

Anyone who have not registered with Athletics Tasmania, but wish to do so in order to have voting rights may do so via the Athletics Tasmania web site.

Newstead Athletics plans to continue to operate both cross country during winter and track & field in the summer seasons and would like to continue with a committee with equal representation from both groups.

Nominations for committee positions should be made on the official nomination form no later than 10pm Monday 24^th May 2021.

The purpose of the AGM is to:

a)  Confirm the minutes of the last preceding annual general meeting and of any general meeting held since that meeting.

b)  Receive from the committee and servants of the Association reports as to the association’s activities during the last preceding financial year.

c)  Elect the officers of the Association and the ordinary committee members.

The Annual Reports will be made available prior to the meeting on the club’s web site under the Documents heading.  This will be communicated shortly.

d) Conduct general business as per meeting Agenda
